To provide exceptional service to both external and internal customers by consistently meeting and exceeding the customer’s expectations. This position works closely with the bank’s Relationship Managers, ARM(s), Analysts, Loan Servicing team and the operations team.
Essential Functions of Position
Customer Service
Open and close deposit, certificate of deposit, and CDARS accounts
Order Debit Cards
Assist clients with ATM/Debit Card questions/issues
Assist clients with account activity questions
Monitor incoming wires
Prepare outgoing wires
Keep current on all products and services offered
Keep current on policies and procedures
Originate and/or respond to correspondence
Recommend, refer and cross sell bank products to meet or exceed customer needs
Maintain accurate records in the customer deposit files
Ensure files have complete CIP information and that checklists and questionnaires are completed by either the account officer or by the CSO
Work with 3rd party vendors such as PCBB, Wells Fargo and Elan
Order customer account supplies
Set clients up with courier services as needed
Work with loan servicing staff for loan pay downs and advances
Daily route Overdraft report to appropriate RMs, the Chief Credit Officer and to operations for processing
Process Wells Fargo Bank deposits in absence of Receptionist
Verify accuracy of Wells Fargo Bank Deposits posted by Receptionist
Assist in completion of the Monthly Customer Due Diligence Report
Keep Compliance/Operations Manager aware of unusual customer activity
Perform all Customer Due Diligence on new clients
Daily relieve Receptionist for lunch and relieve for breaks as needed
Teller Duties
Daily set up cash drawer to back up Receptionist in Teller Transactions
Become primary teller in absence of Receptionist
Maintain sufficient funds in cash drawer to cash checks for clients
Count and Balance cash drawer on days that cash is used. Count cash at least once a month when cash was not used during that month.
Place Reg CC holds when appropriate
Complete Large Currency Transaction Reports when appropriate
Notify the Operations Manager or a Supervisor of any suspicious transactions

Other Back up responsibilities
Assist in nightly bank closing process in absence of Receptionist and/or Operations Specialist
Assist Operation Specialist and Assistant Operations Manager in covering the Receptionist area during absences or vacancies
Assist CSO Supervisor in mentoring new team members
Other Responsibilities
Perform other duties as necessary or required.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Graduation or GED required, some college preferred
Skills:
Must have strong organizational and time management skills
Must exhibit strong understanding of accounting concepts
Must be proficient in Word and Excel programs
Ability to multi-task required
Experience:
Three or more years of Banking experience to include new account set up preferred
Two or more years working with Commercial Deposit clients preferred
Familiarity with account analysis and cash management products preferred
Previous paying and receiving teller experience preferred
Knowledge of Banking regulations preferred
