Positive Pay

Detect potential fraud on your business checking account by using Positive Pay. This tool verifies that checks presented for clearing are items that you have authorized. You create an electronic file detailing checks you have issued and transmit it securely to Puget Sound Bank using E-Treasury’s Account Reconcilement Module. The issued items file will be matched to items presented for payment. If the file information does not match the check presented for payment, an exception report is generated for your review. Until 10 am daily, you have the ability to pay or reject items on the exception report.
