Automated Clearing House (ACH) Origination
ACH Origination is a convenient, secure and low-cost way to transfer funds between U.S. financial institutions. Puget Sound Bank’s ACH module allows your company to originate ACH credits (depositing funds into another bank account) or ACH debits (withdrawing funds from another bank account). Examples of commonly used ACH credit transactions are Direct Deposit of payroll, employee expense reimbursements, accounts payable transactions and distribution payments. Examples of commonly used ACH debit transaction s are accounts receivable entries, monthly dues payments and cash concentration entries.
Our ACH module has the flexibility to allow you to create ACH files by either importing a standard ACH formatted file created by your account software (for example payroll) or manually key-entering the transactions. The ACH module also provides detailed reporting for the last 30 days of ACH transactions originated by your company.
